Amazon Web Services (AWS) is an on-demand cloud computing platform that's available to individuals, companies, and governments. The company offers a metered pay-as-you-go plan for users who don't have access to Amazon's cloud infrastructure (or the software required for managing it) to pay for access as they need it.
